O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondents to forthwith approve the regularisation of candidature of (i) Sowmiya B (Register No.9640020019101) and (ii) Sowmiya R (Register No.9640020019102) admitted in BAMS Degree Course 2020-2021 session in the petitioner College under Lapsed Seat Category in line with the order of this Court dated 13.05.2022 and made in WP.No.695 of 2022.

The writ petitioner herein is a college offering Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. Their approved intake for the academic 2/6

year 2020-2021 was 30 seats. It is seen that even after three phases of counselling, candidates were not allotted for two seats. Therefore, the petitioner admitted two eligible candidates under lapsed seat category and requested the authorities to approve and ratify the same. However, no order was passed. Therefore, the petitioner preferred writ petition in WP.No.695 of 2022 for approval of their candidature for admission to BAMS Degree Course 2020-2021 and this Court allowed the writ petition on 13.05.2022.

Now, it is the case of the petitioner that the final year BAMS examinations are scheduled from 14.08.2025 and the University has already opened the portal for registration of candidates for the examinations. However, the names of those two candidates are not found in the portal. Unless the names are found in the portal, the petitioner will not be able to remit the examination fees and download the hall tickets. In this regard, the petitioner sent an email to the second respondent on 24.07.2025. However, their candidature has not been regularised. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused, all the materials placed before this Court. 5.

On perusal of records, it is revealed that this petitioner already filed writ petition for approval of the candidature of the aforesaid two candidates and this Court allowed the same by order dated 13.05.2022. Further, no appeal was preferred against the order passed in the said writ petition. As such, the matter reached finality. Now, this writ petition has been filed for direction to approve the regularisation of those two candidates. As such, this court is inclined to direct the respondents as follows: The respondents are directed to forthwith approve the regularisation of candidature of (i) Sowmiya B (Register No.9640020019101) and (ii) Sowmiya R (Register No.9640020019102) admitted in BAMS Degree Course 2020-2021 session in the petitioner College under Lapsed Seat Category in line with the order of this Court dated 13.05.2022 passed in WP.No.695 of 2022. 6.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be 4/6

no order as to costs.
