PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent dated 12.08.2024 vide order in Cr.mp. no. 79/BOOTLEGGER/2024 against the petitioner's husband manoj aged about 31 years s/o. late Nallasivam who is confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore and set aside the same and direct the 2nd respondent to produce the detenu before this hon'ble court thereby setting him at liberty. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in Cr.mp. no. 79/BOOTLEGGER/2024 dated 12.08.2024 is sought to be quashed in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.

3.In view of the above submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
