O R D E R

This petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to transfer the investigation in Crime No.221 of 2022 on the file of the Mohanur Police Station, Namakkal to any other investigating agency.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the mother of the deceased who involved in the case registered in Cr. No.221 of 2022 for the offence under Section 302 IPC; despite the case has been registered on 11.09.2022, no fruitful action has been taken so far. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that she has suspicion over her daughter-in-law and one Muthukumar who is having illicit relationship with her daughter-in-law; despite detailed representation has been given by the petitioner to the first respondent, the respondent police did not take any serious action.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that the case itself has been transferred to the file of Inspector of Police, Kattuputhur Police Station, Trichy and they are taking up further investigation; since the petitioner did not notice about the 2/4

said development, she had filed this petition.

4. Since the investigation has been transferred to the file of Inspector of Police, Kattuputhur Police Station, Trichy, the petitioner is at liberty to appear before Kattuputhur Police Station, Trichy and give her statements if any and furnish whatever materials she is willing to produce in connection with the occurrence and on production of the same by the petitioner, the Inspector of Police, Kattuputhur Police Station, Trichy, is directed to expedite the investigation and do the needful in accordance with law and complete the investigation within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
