The petitioner seeks a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to furnish Form 16-A under the Income Tax Act to enable the petitioner to file the Income Tax Returns, in respect of the compensation awarded to the petitioner, for the land acquired from the petitioner in T.S. No. 31/2, Alandur, Pallavaram, to an extent of 37.5 sq.m.

When the matter is called today, Mr.M. Elumalai, learned Government Advocate produced a communication dated 28.11.2016 sent by the 2nd respondent enclosing a copy of Form 16-A in favour of the petitioner.
