JUDGMENT

(Order of the Court was made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This intra-court appeal has been filed against the interim order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in Cont.P.No.1256 of 2023 dated 01.09.2023. Today, when the matter is called for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General for the appellant submitted that subsequent to the order impugned in the present appeal, the contempt petition was closed and thereafter vide order dated 18.04.2024 the same was reopened. Challenging the order dated 18.04.2024, reopening the contempt petition, the appellant has filed another appeal in L.P.A.No.10 of 2024 and the Division Bench of this Court vide order dated 28.08.2024 set aside the order dated 18.04.2024 reopening the contempt petition. He also produced copy of the order of the Division Bench of this Court dated 28.08.2024. Therefore nothing survives in the present appeal for adjudication and the same may be closed. 2 / 4

In view of the above submissions and the subsequent order of the Division Bench of this Court dated 28.08.2024 in L.P.A.No.10 of 2024, nothing survives in this appeal for adjudication and the same is dismissed as infructuous.
