ORDER

By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The writ petition has been filed seeking Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to join duty as Commercial Tax Officer, Tiruvannamalai-II Assessment Circle forthwith.

Though the Writ Petition was filed seeking a larger relief, at the time of hearing, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if a direction is issued to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation/petition of the petitioner dated 31.05.2016 within a time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer, now, made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to furnish a copy of the representation/petition dated 31.05.2016 along with a copy of this Order to the respondents 2 and 3 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order and on receipt of the same, the respondents 2 and 3 shall consider and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks thereafter.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
