O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner without due process of law at the instance of any false and frivolous complaint in respect of practice of allopathy medicine.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is practicing Psychotherapy and Community Medical Service as per the notification of the Central Government; the respondent police are frequently interfering with his practice on the false complaints and thereby, the petitioner is being harassed by the respondent police; in this regard, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent police on 20.10.2022; but the same has not been considered so far. .

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is that he is treating the patients using English medicines and therefore, a case has been registered against him and subsequently, the current paper enquiry has been initiated in C. No.13 of 2022 and the enquiry is pending.

5. Since the representation has been given by the petitioner as early as on 20.10.2022, it is obligatory on the part of the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry as early as possible and do the needful in accordance with law.

6. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in C.No.13 of 2022, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and do the needful in accordance with law. 08.11.2022 Index : Yes/ No Speaking Order:Yes/No uma 3/4
