The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 420 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.213 of 2018, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner had already been granted anticipatory bail in Crl.O.P.No. 12707 of 2022 by an order dated 17.06.2022. After getting that order, the petitioner did not execute sureties. In the meanwhile, the investigation has been completed and showing the petitioner as an absconding accused and the final report had been filed which had been taken cognizance as C.C.No. 6833 of 2023 before the Special Case CCB Court at Egmore.

3. In view of that particular fact, this Criminal Original Petition does not lie. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
