ORDER

Though this writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2023 seeking to recall the dismissal order passed in a departmental proceedings mainly on the ground that the criminal case has ended up in acquittal.

2. During the submissions, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is considered only in respect of the release of the eligible terminal benefits.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 09.08.2023 and pass appropriate orders for releasing the eligible terminal amounts such as General Provident Fund, Special Provident Fund and other amounts payable to the Government Servant even after dismissal from service. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. 2/4
