PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for a direction to the learned Principal District Judge, Kallakurichi District to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.64 of 2024 within a stipulated time period fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.D.Vijay

O R D E R

The civil revision petitioner, who is the 4th defendant in the suit, seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.64 of 2024 on the file of the Principal District Court at Kallakurichi.

2. When the matter came up for admission, I called for a report from the learned Principal District Judge at Kallakurichi as to how long she would require to dispose of the suit. The learned Principal District Judge has sent a report and has stated that the chief affidavit of the plaintiff has been filed on 21.09.2024 and an application is pending under Order VII Rule 14(3) of the Code of Civil Procedure. She has stated that she will dispose of the suit within six months. 2/4

3. Taking into consideration the report filed by the learned Principal District Judge at Kallakurichi, six months time is granted to the learned Judge to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.64 of 2024.

4. Accordingly, the civil revision petition is ordered. There shall be no order as to costs.
