ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the first and second respondent to grant permission for conducting public meeting based on the representation made by the petitioner on 13.09.2023. 2.

Heard Mr.P.G.Thiyagu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner union wants to conduct a public meeting on 08.10.2023 at about 4 P.M. at Hosur Ram Nagar near Anna Statue. The petitioner has given a representation in this regard on 13.09.2023. Since the same was not considered, the present petition has been filed. 4.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.09.2023 and grant permission and police protection for conducting the public meeting on 08.10.2023 by imposing reasonable conditions.
