ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Seeking a direction to the respondent to produce the body of the detenu namely Vijayakumar, aged about 42 years and set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner/wife of the detenu.
2. This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the wife, inter-alia alleging that her husband has been taken illegal custody by the respondent police.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that a case has been registered and notice under Sections 160 and 91 of CrPC had been issued by the Inspector of Police, North Police Station, Thiruppur City. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the said Inspector of Police, before completion of 24 hours, after the arrest, he would produce the accused before the Jurisdictional Magistrate.
