ORDER

Seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's application dated 03.11.2016 and provide electricity connection to the petitioner's house situated at Old Survey No. 432, New Survey No.344/4, Old Door No.10, New No.10/2, White Lane, Halls Garden, Royapettah Chennai - 014, the present writ petition has been filed. 2.The petitioner is the son of one Elizabeth Jabamani in whose name the property stands. The petitioner made an application for service connection for the aforesaid house situated in Old Survey No. 432, New Survey No.344/4, Old Door No.10, New No.10/2, White Lane, Halls Garden, Royapettah Chennai - 014.

3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, though the legal heriship certificate and the sale deed stand in the name of the deceased mother of the petitioner were produced, the third respondent has not considered the request for service connection presumably on the ground that all the legal heirs will have to be present.

4.Learned counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that if the legal heirship certificate is produced, service connection would be given.

5.Despite service of notice and the names of respondents 4 to 6 having been printed in the cause list, none appears. This shows that respondents 4 to 6 are not interested in contesting the matter.

6.In such view of the matter, on production of legal heirship certificate by the petitioner, the third respondent is directed to effect service connection to the house in question subject to the other compliance such as requisite payment etc., within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
