The Petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the Respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 8 & 17 of Protection of Child From Sexual Offences Act 2012, in Crime No.17 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that on the inspection conducted by the District Child Welfare Officer, District Child Welfare Unit on 24.08.2023 at the Gudiyatham Nadupet Government Girls Higher Secondary School, they found that the Science Teacher Raman and Physical Education Teacher Madesh, who is the Petitioner herein have misbehaved with the girl students. Hence the complaint.

3.Learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that false case was foisted against the Petitioner. The Petitioner is abide by any conditions imposed by this Court. Hence, the learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail to the Petitioner.

4.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the 1/ 3

Petitioner sexually harassed the girl students, who are studying in the school. He vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioners. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the Respondent Police. 6.Taking into consideration the facts and the submissions made by the learned counsel on either sides and the specific overtact attributed to the Petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the Petitioner. 7.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to file fresh Petition.
