O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to take appropriate action to find out the whereabouts of the petitioner's husband viz., V.Subramaniyan at Saudi Arabia as per the request made by the 2nd respondent in Letter No.3617/RH-I/2015-1, dated 12.02.2015.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that her husband Mr.V.Subramaniyan has been working in the company known as Al-Zamil Industry Trade & Transport situated in Riyadh, Musame Area, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and from the month of January, 2015 there is no information and communication from him, hence she seeks a direction to the 1st respondent to take appropriate action to find out the whereabouts of her husband.

3. The respondents have filed a status report. In the report it is stated 2/4

that the Embassy of India, Riyadh has taken up the issue with Saudi Local Authorities and the Saudi Local Authorities have informed that as per the website of Saudi Government, the petitioner's husband ran away from the workplace without intimating to the sponsor/employee. There is an likelihood of the petitioner's husband escaped through road to other countries bordering Saudi Arabia.

4. Such view of the matter, the respondents are directed to continue their efforts in securing the petitioner's husband. With the above direction the writ petition is closed. No costs.
