The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that in this case final report has been filed before the learned XIV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai and taken cognizance in C.C.No.392 of 2024 for offence under Sections 427 and 337 of IPC. The accused has pleaded guilty and sentenced to pay fine of Rs.500/- for offence under Section 427 of IPC and fine of Rs.500/- for offence under Section 337 of IPC and the accused has paid the fine amount.

3. In the light of the above fact, the prayer in the petition does not survive. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 23.09.2024 Vv To
