O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take further action on the petitioner's complaint dated 09.03.2018 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police.

3. Today when the petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 09.03.2018, enquiry is pending in Current Paper No.039843 of 2018. According to him, as of now, the said enquiry is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

pending for further proceedings.

4. Now, on considering the submissions with the relevant records, it is made clear that the complaint given by the petitioner is pending on the file of the 2nd respondent police for the past three years. Therefore, it would be appropriate to direct the 2nd respondent police to complete the enquiry within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

5. Accordingly, this Court directs the 2nd respondent police to dispose of the above-referred enquiry within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
