This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.06.2022.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is badly injured in an occurrence on 23.06.2022. Though the complaint has been given to the second respondent police, no action has been taken so far.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that for the same allegation, a complaint has been given by one Saravanan, who is the brother-in-law of the petitioner. On the said complaint, the F.I.R. has been registered in Crime No.117 of 2/4

2022 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(ii) of IPC and the investigation is pending.

Since the petitioner's grievance has been already addressed in view of the registration of the F.I.R. in Crime No.117 of 2022, this matter does not require any further consideration. 6.

With these observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
