This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking to amend the jurisdictional court as Special Court Exclusive Trial of SC and ST Cases, Vellore, Vellore District instead of Principal District and Sessions Court, Vellore, Vellore District, in the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.24767 of 2022 dated 13.10.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the affidavit filed in support of the above Criminal Original Petition, the jurisdictional Court has been inadvertently typed as "Principal District and Sessions Court, Vellore, Vellore District" instead of "Special Court Exclusive Trial of SC and ST Cases, Vellore, Vellore District."

4. Being satisfied with the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side as well as the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.

5. Registry is directed to issue fresh order copy to the petitioner after making necessary amendment.
