The counsel for the petitioner would submit that after the confirmation of conviction by the appellate Court, the parties have compromised the matter and the entire cheque amount has been paid by the petitioner to the respondent. The petitioner being a lady was under the impression that since the amount has been settled, there would not be any further adjudication process. However, bailable warrant has been issued by the trial Court and thereby, the petitioner has filed a revision with a delay of 982 days.
2. Both the petitioner and the respondent are present before this Court.
3. The respondent admits having received the entire cheque amount and he is also prepared to compound the offence with the petitioner/accused.
4. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit in the petition seeking to condone the delay is ordered. http://www.judis.nic.in 1/2
