issue a Writ of Mandamus For Petitioner : M/s.C.Munusamy For Respondents : Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, AGP, RR1 to 4
ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Since no adverse order has been passed against the respondents 5 to 7, notice to the respondents 5 to 7 is dispensed with.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that since the respondents 5 to 7 have obtained quarry licence by creating forged documents, the petitioner who is the neighbouring owner, has made a representation before the respondents on 12.02.2024 to take action against the said persons. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in the present writ 2/6
petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 submits that enquiry was conducted and appropriate orders will be passed within the time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 and perused the materials placed on record.
7. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents 1 to 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and after affording 3/6
an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the aggrieved persons if any within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the above directions and observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
