O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer Crime No.210 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Paramathi to any other Competent Investigation Agency. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that after the complaint came to be registered on 17.08.2019, there is no adequate progress in the investigation. According to the learned counsel, the accused has not been arrested and that the question of apprehension of arrest by the accused depends on various facts including the fact as to whether the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

accused is co-operating for the investigation and whether he would tamper with the witness and if the Investigating Officer is of the view that the accused is co-operating with the investigation, the question of arrest may not arise. Nevertheless, since the petitioner is of the view that there is no effective progress in the investigation, such an investigation, which is now being conducted by the fourth respondent, shall be monitored on day to day basis by the third respondent. The respondents 3 and 4 shall endeavour to complete the investigation in Crime No.210 of 2019, as expeditiously as possible.

3.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
