ORDER

Even there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner, in view of an order passed in Crl.O.P.Nos.6572 and 6633 of 2021 by my learned brother Mr.Justice M.Nirmal Kumar on 13.09.2021, I am of the firm opinion of the present petition should not be kept any further on the board of this Court.

2.The present petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.63 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent / District Crime Branch, Anti Land Grabbing Special Wing, Coimbatore. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Further developments had taken place and after investigation, the 1st respondent had filed final report and the same had been taken cognizance as C.C.No.215 of 2020 by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam. Seeking to quash the said calendar case, the petitioner herein / A2 and another individual D.Muthusamy had filed the Crl.O.P.Nos.6572 and 6633 of 2021 before this Court. A learned Single Judge after considering all the arguments and referring to a series of judgments had finally, dismissed the petition and quashed further proceedings in C.C.No.215 of 2917 as against the present petitioner / A2 there by allowing Crl.O.P.No.6572 of 2021. The petition filed on behalf of D.Muthusamy in Crl.O.P.No.6633 of 2021 was dismissed. 3.

A direction was given by the learned Single Judge that the trial court should be given priority and concluded within a period of six months. The said order was passed on 13.09.2021. The said order is directly binding on all the parties. In view of that particular development, nothing further survives. The present Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
