The petitioner herein, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(C) and 4(1)(A) of TNP Act, in Crime No.78 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The petitioner is a prohibition offender involved in 32 similar cases is absconding in connection with Cr.No.78 of 2025.
3. This Court earlier, on considering the gravity of the offence and the bad antecedents of the petitioner, dismissed the anticipatory bail petition on 10.06.2025. This is the second anticipatory bail petition, there is no change in circumstances.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner is an habitual offender, she is absconding and her custody is required. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.
5. Considering the same, this Court is not inclined to grant 2/4
anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
