The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 18.08.2023 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 341, 323, 324, 506(ii) and 307 of IPC on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2.It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim had been discharged from the hospital and one of the accused had been granted bail.

3.It is stated by the respondent that A1 and A6 in this case are still absconding and the injured had been assaulted with knife and his shoulder has been injured. It is also stated that there are 11 previous cases against him.

4.In view of the fact that A1 and A6 are still absconding and also considering the antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
