This Criminal Original Petition is filed to call for the records and Quash the FIR in Crime No.727 of 2022 on the file of the Virudhachalam Police Station.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not commit any offences as alleged in the impugned FIR. Without any base, the respondent Police registered a case as against the petitioner in Crime No. 727 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 3(1), 4(1), 6(1)a, 7(1)a of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. Hence he prayed to quash the same.

3.The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report in E-filing No.LTN 2022000 1944 C20 dated 01.12.2023 is filed and further procedures are in progress. Hence, he prayed for dismissal of this petition. 2/5

4. Perused the materials available on record.

5. Being satisfied with the Govt. Advocate statement, this Court is not inclined to quash the FIR in Crime No. 727 of 2022. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Further it is open to the petitioner to workout his remedy on receipt of the copies filed along with the petition under Section 207 of Cr.P,C.
