O R D E R

The relief as such sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondent to furnish those particulars as requested by the writ petitioner under the Right to Information Act, in his Award dated 02.07.2019 to the writ petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submitted an application under the Provisions of the Right to Information Act to the respondent on 02.07.2019. The said application is not responded and therefore, the writ petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition.

3. Under the Provisions of the Right to Information Act, if the Public Information Officer has not responded to the application, then the Information seeker has to approach the Appellate Authority namely the State Information Commission for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the redressal of the remedy. Thus, the petitioner has to exhaust the remedy under the Act by approaching the State Information Commissioner without exhausting the remedy provided under the Act and no writ petition can be entertained under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Thus, the writ petitioner is at liberty to approach the State Commission for the redressal of his grievances.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
