ORDER
The plaintiff in the suit for partition and permanent injunction in O.S.No.111 of 2020 pending on the file of the learned Principal District Page No.1 of 4
Judge, Chengalpattu, has come up with the present revision petition seeking expeditious disposal of the said suit.
2. In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the suit has been filed in the year 2020 and though the pleadings were completed four years back, the suit has not been taken up in the list even thereafter.
4. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also perused the materials placed on record.
5. Considering that the suit is for partition and the same is pending for over five years, this Court directs the learned Principal District Judge, Chengalpattu to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.111 of 2020 pending on its file finally on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 31.03.2026, after affording sufficient opportunity to the parties.
