ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioners.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor (Pondy) appearing for the respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that there is a dispute between the petitioners and the neighbouring land owner in respect of the enjoyment of the property situated in R.S.No.166/6, Pandasozhanur Revenue Village, Nettappakkam Commune, Puducherry to an extent of 44 Kuzhies 4 Veesams; however, on the complaint given by the neighbouring land owner, the respondent police is frequently calling the petitioners to appear for enquiry and harassing them. In this regard, the petitioners have also given a representation on 01.11.2022.

4. The learned Public Prosecutor (Pondy) submitted that the enquiry has been conducted on the said complaint and the matter has been closed as civil in nature on 25.10.2022.

5. In view of the above submission of the learned Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further consideration in this Criminal Original Petition.
