ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to implement the G.O.(Ms).No.293 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 18.06.2021 and enable the petitioner to get his monetary benefits every month from the date of issuance of the Government Order by passing orders on the representation dated 02.09.2023. 2.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at Government Omandurar Medical College, Chennai. After considering the Doctors Association request and the Committee report on revision of pay/allowance for Medical Officer, the 1st respondent passed G.O.(Ms).No.293, Health and Family Welfare Department, dated 18.06.2021. The said Government Order was implemented and the Doctors were paid with the allowances initially for a period of eight months and thereafter, the same was stopped without any reason. In this regard, the Page No.2 of 4
petitioner has given representation, dated 02.09.2023 to the respondents, however, the same has not been considered.
3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that no acknowledgement is produced for sending the representation to the respondents.
4.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation to the respondents, within ten days, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months, thereafter, in the light of the G.O.(Ms).No.293 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 18.06.2021.
5.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
