Respondents in all WPs Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to provide electricity connection to the petitioners' house situated at Nos.54/4/11, 82/2 and 77 respectively, Perumal Koil Street, Jagirkamanayakkanpatty, Salem Taluk, Salem District - 636 302, based on the petitioners' application dated 15.07.2016 without insisting for "No Objection Certificate' from the fifth respondent.

For petitioner : Mr.P.Satheesh Kumar For R1 to R4 : Mr.S.K.Rameshwar For R5 : Mr.M.Maharaja, Spl.GP (HR&CE) COMMON ORDER When the matter is taken up, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the fifth respondent, by placing on the record the proceedings of the fifth respondent, submitted that all the petitioners were considered as trespassers into the property belonging to the temple. Based on the said proceeding, notice was also issued to the petitioners directing them to appear for enquiry before the fifth respondent to be held on 28.12.2016.

2. In view of the pendency of the enquiry, learned counsel for the petitioners now sought for withdrawal of the writ petitions and to that effect, he has also made an endorsement.

3. Recording the said endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
