Respondent Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, pleased to set aside the order passed by the learned Principal Special Court under EC & NDPS Act in Crl.M.P.No.4333 of 2023 in Crl.M.P.No.1456 of 2023 dated 30.06.2023 and consequently modify the bail condition imposed on the petitioner that "he shall execute a bond of Rs.10,000/- and with a like sum, two acceptable and reliable sureties, one of them shall be Government servant to the satisfaction of the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate Saidapet". 1/4

The petition is filed to modify the bail conditions imposed on the accused.

2. According to the petitioner, the condition to furnish at least one surety, who is a Government servant, is onerous condition for him, as he hails from Orissa and is not acquainted with any Government servant in Tamil Nadu.

3. When the matter came up for consideration, the Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the petitioner was able to secure a Government servant as a surety and on satisfaction of the surety by the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, the petitioner released on bail.
