This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.724 of 2023 on the file of the 1st respondent/police.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions submitted that, during the course of investigation, it revealed that at the time of arrest and remand to judicial custody, the Accused/A4 had wantonly mentioned his name as ''Ajith Prakash''. Later, on verification, it came to light that the real name of the Accused No.4 is ''Surya Dinesh'', who is the elder brother of the petitioner herein. He further submitted that investigation is almost over and charge sheet is yet to be filed. Therefore, there is no necessity to quash the F.I.R. in Crime No.724 of 2023.

3. Recoding the above said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
