(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the appeal is pending against the earlier notice issued under Section 6 of the Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and status quo order is operating and during the pendency of that appeal, the second notice dated 14.11.2016 has been issued under Section 6 of the said Act. 2.Since the appeal is stated to be pending, learned Special Government Pleader states that this notice may have been issued mistakenly.

3.Since the appeal is pending for more than 1 1⁄2 years, we expect the appeal to be disposed of within one (1) month from today.
