O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.74 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Sendamangalam Police Station, Namakkal District to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Namakkal, Namakkal District or any other police officer and to file a final report.

2. Heard Mr.B.Vasudevan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.V. Saradha Devi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.

3. One of the main grievance of the petitioner is that though the FIR came to be registered on 22.04.2019, there is no effective progress in the investigation. In my view, if the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

within a stipulated period, the ends of justice could be secured and also that, such investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of police.

In the light of the above observations, the respondent herein is directed to complete the investigation in Cr.No.74 of 2019 pending on its file, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and to file a final report. Such investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police having jurisdiction over the respondent police on day-to-day basis.

5. With the above observations and direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
