ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner to set aside the order and decretal order passed in I.A.No.8 of 2025 in I.A.No.6 of 2024 in O.S.No.2444 of 2019 on the file of XIX Additional City Civil Court, Chennai dated 14.07.2025.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner filed a petition in I.A.No.8 of 2025 in I.A.No.06 of 2024 to amend the cause title in the order and decreetal order passed in I.A.No.06 of 2024 dated 21.03.2025 in the main suit by amending the name of the respondent. The same was dismissed by order dated 14.07.2025. Challenging the same, the present revision is filed.
3. A reading of the affidavit filed by the petitioner in I.A.No.6 of 2024 2/5
shows that what he has mentioned in the cause title, the same has been reflected in the decree and he has not filed the application showing the cause title in the original decree. He himself filed the petition wrongly and after 297 days he filed the application to condone the delay without verifying the cause title and hence the same was dismissed. Subsequently, he filed the application to amend the cause title after disposal of suit. Further, the connected revision petition filed by the petitioner in C.R.P. No.4023 of 2023 challenging the dismissal order passed in the condone delay petition in I.A.No.6 of 2024 itself is dismissed by this Court vide separate order, nothing survives in this revision petition.
4. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
