PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the first respondent from taking any punitive or disciplinary action pursuant to the communication dated 22.11.2016 of the 5th respondent in respect of the death of the dog on 17.11.2016.

The learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the respondents filed a counter stating that no action is proposed to take against the writ petitioner and hence, the writ petition is without cause of action. 2.In view of the statement made in the counter affidavit, the writ petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the writ petition and also made an endorsement to that effect. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, there is no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
