Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in relation to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in Letter No.8077/U1/2017, dated 17.03.2017 rejecting the statutory revision with a direction to approach the parties to the civil courts and quash the same as illegal and violative of the statutory provisions of the Registration Act, 1908, and Circular No.67, Inspector General of Registration, dated 03.11.2011 and direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 04.05.2015 to cancel the power of attorney dated 28.01.2015 and registered as Document No.3890/2015/Book-IV, on the file of the 4th respondent.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records in relation to the impugned order passed by the first respondent in Letter No.8077/U1/2017, dated 17.03.2017 rejecting the statutory revision with a direction to approach the parties to the civil courts and quash the same as illegal and violative of the statutory provisions of the Registration Act, 1908, and Circular No.67, Inspector General of Registration, dated 03.11.2011 and direct the 3rd respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 04.05.2015 to cancel the power of attorney dated 28.01.2015 and registered as Document No.3890/2015/Book-IV, on the file of the 4th respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

3. In view of the above submission, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. The dismissal of this writ petition may not have any bearing on the criminal proceedings, which is pending against the petitioner before the Criminal Court. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
