O R D E R

This contempt petition has been filed praying to punish the respondent for the wilful disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.No.9149 of 2025 dated 19.03.2025.

2. Mr.K.Nagoor Meerasa,Thasildar, Kadayampatti Taluk was 1/3

present at the time of hearing.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that in compliance of this Court order dated 19.03.2025, the survey was conducted by the Surveyor on 17.07.2025. Thereafter, the proceedings have been issued on 23.09.2025 and the respondent has come to a conclusion that even though the petitioner is seeking for issuance of patta for a total extent of 49 cents on the field, it was found that the petitioner was only in possession of 28 cents. Therefore, the patta that was sought for by the petitioner was neither granted nor rejected.

4. In the light of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this contempt petition and if the petitioner is aggrieved, it is left open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
