This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to quash the F.I.R. registered in Crime No.349 of 2017 dated 13.10.2017 on the file of the first respondent police, as illegal.

2. Even after showing the name of the learned counsel for the petitioners in the cause list, none appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

3. Heard Mr.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police. None appeared on behalf of the second respondent.

4. Today when the petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent police on instructions would submit that in respect to the petition mentioned Crime Number, i.e. Crime No.349 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 341, 327, 427, 379 and 506(2) of IPC, the first respondent police completed the investigation and filed a Final Report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Pennagaram on 04.01.2018 as 'mistake of fact'. The said submission is recorded.

5. In view of the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
