ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.07.2025 for the offences under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS, Act, 1985, in Crime No.276 of 2025, on the file of respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police states that this petitioner is having similar case in the State of Andhra Pradesh and the antecedent need to be probed. Further, he states that the chemical analysis report is not yet received and therefore, the bail petition needs to be dismissed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that it is only case against this petitioner in the State of Tamil Nadu and the quantity is 2Kg which is of intermediate quantity. Hence, he seeks for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the fact that the chemical analysis report and the antecedent of the petitioner need to be verified, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the bail petition stands dismissed for the present.
