A.No.4803 of 2024 in C.S.DR.No.8486 of 2018 and A.Nos.2401 & 2824 of 2022 & A.Nos.2111 & 2112 of 2024 in C.S.DR.No.8486 of 2018 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J By Application No.4803 of 2024, the plaintiffs seek permission to effect service on respondents 16 to 19 in Application No.2111 of 2024 by publication in newspapers.

2. The notices sent to respondents 16 to 19 were returned unserved with the endorsement that the premises was always found locked. Upon being permitted to issue private notice, the plaintiffs filed an affidavit of service enclosing the returned postal covers with the endorsement "unclaimed". In these circumstances, A.No.4803 of 2024 is liable to be and is hereby allowed by permitting the plaintiffs to effect substituted service on respondents 16 to 19 by way of a paper publication in the English daily "The New Indian Express" and the Tamil daily "Dinamalar" specifying the next date of hearing as 25.10.2024.
