ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.269 of 2024 from the file of third respondent to the file of fourth respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that on 01.05.2024, the petitioner's house was broke open and 22 sovereigns of jewels were stolen. Pursuant to the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR in Crime No.269 of 2024 was registered by the 3 rd respondent for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 of IPC. However, no action has been taken so far. Hence the present petition seeking transfer of the investigation from the third respondent to the fourth respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) on instructions submitted that investigation is in progress and that the third respondent will expedite the same and complete it expeditiously.

4. Recording the above submission, the third respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and complete it as expeditiously as possible.
