Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the respondents 4 and 5 against the lock and seal notice issued by the second respondent for the property bearing Door No.8/20, Rutland Gate, IV Street, Nungambakkam, Chennai-600 006 as directed by this Hon'ble Court within the stipulated time.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Since the statutory appeal filed under Section 80-A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 by respondent Nos.4 and 5 viz., Viresh Reddy and Vishal Reddy, sons of Pradyumna Reddy, residing at No.8/20, Rutland Gate 4th Street, Nungambakkam, Chennai-6, is pending before the competent authority, where the present petitioners/complainants viz., Smitha Arons, wife of Michael Arons and Shruti Reddy, wife of Leo Bune, are also impleaded, we are of the considered opinion that no interference can be made at this stage. The parties are free to raise their respective contentions before the said Appellate Authority and the Appellate Authority is expected to dispose of the said appeal in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

2. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.28846 of 2019 is closed.
