Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to measure and issue joint patta in the name of petitioners in respect of the property situated in Survey No.433/2 part (Present S.No.433/2B as per patta Sub Division) in Maduravoyal Village, Chennai to an extent of 500 Sq.ft after deducting the acquired land for widening the Alappakkam Main Road to an extent of 418 Sq.mt by considering the petitioners representation dated 21.03.2019, 09.04.2019 and on the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.10893/2019/J14 dated 11.06.2019 within a stipulated period of time. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to measure and issue joint https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

patta in the name of petitioners in respect of the property situated in Survey No.433/2 part (Present S.No.433/2B as per patta Sub Division) in Maduravoyal Village, Chennai to an extent of 500 Sq.ft after deducting the acquired land for widening the Alappakkam Main Road to an extent of 418 Sq.mt by considering the petitioners representation dated 21.03.2019, 09.04.2019 and on the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.10893/2019/J14 dated 11.06.2019 within a stipulated period of time.

2. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, the 2nd respondent is directed to measure and issue joint patta in the name of the petitioners in respect of the subject property by considering the representations of the petitioners dated 21.03.2019 and 09.04.2019 and in the light of the proceedings of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.No.10893/2019/J14 dated 11.06.2019, after issuance of notice to the petitioners, adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, on payment of requisite fees.

3. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
