ORDER
This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd and 5th respondents to disconnect the electricity connection in service connection number 06-502010144 at Door No.13, Thoni Thurai Street, in the name of Junaitha is proprietor of CRYSTAL ICE Company Nagapattinam.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that he made a representation before the th respondent on 20.10.2020 to disconnect the electricity connection and the same is not considered and hence, the present writ petition has filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the 5 th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents perused the materials available on record. Since no adverse orders are passed against the 8 th respondent, notice to the 8 th respondent is dispensed with.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the 5 th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
