PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to furnish the report of the handwriting expert to the 1st Respondent as sought for vide requisition bearing D. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed directing the 2nd respondent to furnish the report of the handwriting expert to the 1st Respondent as sought for vide requisition bearing D.No.89/2023 by the Judicial Magistrate, Sulur dated 12.01.2023.

2.There is already an order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.22941 of 2022 to complete the investigation within a period of sixteen weeks. That apart, a requisition letter has already been sent for expert opinion before the Forensic Department, Chennai and according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the FSL report is awaited.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the Investigation Officer is awaiting the FSL report and immediately on receipt of the same, final report will be filed in this case.

4.There shall be a direction to the Forensic Department, Chennai viz., the 2nd respondent herein to sent the report, within a period of six weeks from the date of 2/4

receipt of copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the 1st respondent shall complete the investigation and file the final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
