The present writ petition is filed challenging the transfer of case filed from Corporate Circle-1(1), Chennai to DCIT, Central Circle 3(4), Mumbai.
2. After notice, the matter was adjourned on several occasions and thereafter, it is listed today for further hearing.
3. The learned standing counsel for the respondents, based on written instructions, submitted that the Mumbai office has communicated the Chennai office that there is no requirement of transferring the assessment file back to the Mumbai office as the scrutiny assessment in the case of M/s.Aditya Birla Money Ltd., has already been completed by the Chennai office.
4. Therefore, the learned standing counsel for the respondent submitted that nothing survives in this writ petition to be adjudicated upon further.
5. Recording the above said submission made by the learned standing counsel for the respondent, this writ petition is closed as no further orders is necessary, however, granting liberty to the petitioner to agitate the matter as and when an occasion arises in future. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
