JUDGMENT

(Delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.M.S.Palaniswamy, learned counsel for the appellant; and Mr.P.S.Raman, learned Advocate-General, assisted by Mr.C.Kathiravan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent No.1.

2. It is not disputed that, though the appellant/original writ petitioner was elected on 9.4.2018, because of the interim orders of this Court, the original writ petitioner could take charge only on 14.6.2019. As such, he is entitled to continue till 13.6.2024.

3. The said position of the original writ petitioner taking charge of the office on 14.6.2019 is not disputed by the respondents.

4. In view of the fact that the respondents agree that the original writ petitioner's term would end on 13.6.2024, the order of appointment of the Administrator is set aside and the original writ petitioner would demit the office on 13.6.2024.

5. The writ appeal, as such, is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.22367 of 2023 is closed. (S.V.G., CJ.) (D.B.C., J.) 23.02.2024 Index : Yes/No bbr To The Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Dharmapuri Region, (Full Additional charge) Dharmapuri.
