(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.Yogeshwaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Shunmugasundaram, learned Advocate General assisted by Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 2 and 3.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the Coastal Regulation Zone notifications are issued only in English and Hindi and the local fishermen in the State of Tamil Nadu would not understand the said notifications. As such, the same should also be published in the Regional Language.

3. Learned Advocate General submits that the State would endeavour to translate the said notification in Tamil Language/Regional Language.

4. The said statement of the learned Advocate General would take care of the apprehension of the petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. (S.V.G., CJ.) (P.D.A., J.) 22.09.2023 Index :
